Hello there! Remember those enchanting days when Roald Dahl, the Famous Five, and Sherlock Holmes whisked us away to magical worlds? I never quite outgrew that love for books. In fact, it’s only grown stronger over the years. Nowadays, I’m fortunate to be a children’s book author.

But that’s not the whole story. During the day, I serve as an Economic Advisor for the U.S. Department of State in New Delhi. Let me rewind a bit, though. Before this, I embarked on a thrilling journey in journalism, working with CNN, Thomson Reuters, the BBC, and Times Now. I’ve had incredible experiences ranging from interviewing members of parliament to engaging with acid attack survivors and even covering the Arab Spring protests.

When not writing or working, I’m off exploring the world. I’ve visited 18 countries so far, and my travel wishlist is a mile long! Growing up in Oman and Dubai instilled in me a love for adventure and exposed me to diverse cultures, continually inspiring my writing.

Oh, and did I mention my stint as a theatre artist? Yes, I’ve always been passionate about bringing stories to life, be it through writing or on stage.

Here’s a little peek into my personal life: I’m the proud parent of a six-year-old boy and an adorable three-year-old daughter. They keep me on my toes and constantly remind me of the magic and wonder in children’s books.
