Hi there, and welcome!

Remember getting swept away by the worlds of Roald Dahl, the Famous Five, or Sherlock Holmes? I do, and I never really outgrew that sense of wonder. If anything, my love for stories has only deepened over the years. Today, I’m lucky enough to channel that passion as a children’s book author.

But that’s just one chapter of my story.

By day, I serve as an Economic Advisor with the U.S. Department of State. Before entering the world of diplomacy, I worked as a journalist covering everything from Parliament sessions and the Arab Spring protests to powerful interviews with acid attack survivors. It was a front-row seat to humanity in all its complexity and resilience.

Travel is another great love of mine: I’ve explored 23 countries (and counting!). Growing up in Oman and Dubai instilled in me a deep curiosity for cultures, landscapes, and stories beyond borders, something that continues to inspire my writing every day.

At home, I’m a proud mom to three little adventurers. They’re my greatest inspiration, my toughest critics, and my daily reminder of the magic in picture books.

Also, fair warning: if you ever visit, expect shelves full of candles and an unreasonable number of cushions. I like my world cozy, calm, and always a little bit whimsical.
